Dear Leather Satchel

Dear Leather Satchel,

You are a remarkable friend and companion who I wouldn’t dare travel without. It amazes me how enduring and persevering you truly are. I want you to know that at times I’m in a hurry and I may carelessly overload you with my junk, and even then you stand tall with a formidable level of understanding and patience. Where did you come from? And how and why can you be so good to me.

You truly are the perfect friend. The hardware always shines with a nostalgic resonance. The texture and durability of your distressed leather fibers never give. And just seem to look better with age. I don’t know how is it that you always manage to be so prestigious, but god knows I love you for it.

Sometimes, I’m slightly envious of you, you could even say a bit jealous. It seems you always get all of the attention. It would appear that the world reveres your such as the highly devoted and respected.

But I guess in a sense you make me a better person. You always remind me that somethings are worth it, some things are made to last

P.S. Thank you.
